Transitioning to bottle

Question:

Hi all,
Two questions really.
I'm due back to work next month and babs who has been exclusively breast fed is now absolutely refusing to take a bottle, I know there are no easy answers but if any one has any tips I'd be thrilled.
Second, is it feasible to expect her to drink formula from a bottle during the day time and to continue to breast feed at night (she's a v poor sleeper and is eight months)?
Thanks everyone

Hiya,
As your lo is a bit older, maybe you could skip the bottle altogether and go for a cup? maybe one of the soft spout ones?
I got one yesterday for my dd although she's prob too young yet (3mths) she also refuses the bottle. No easy answers from me I'm afraid, Good Luck!

Singer my guy is 9mths and trying to wean him at the moment - will not take a bottle have tried every type on the market but he is now taking a coupe of oz from a cup - so I'm not going to bother with a bottle at all - try your little one with a cup - I intend to keep up an early morning and bed time feed when I get back to work , lots of people keep up two or three feeds hopefully you will have no bother .

I feel your pain... my little guy used to take bottle of EBM every night and now he's totally refusing it and it causes HELL if we try to insist on it. I dunno.... *sigh* I'll try him with a cup in a few more weeks.
