Nearly done...

Question:

Thanks so much for all the help over the last 6 months. I think I would have caved if it wasn't for the MMs. Especially when my g0bsh!te GP told me to stop feeding.
I am gutted to be nearly done (down to morning and evening and will be finished by next weekend) but it has been an amazing experience.
BTW I can't believe how quickly the supply drops back and this from a girl who had way too much the whole way through.
Thanks again to you all and happy breast feeding!

why stop now

Well done for getting this far!

Ah well done, you don't have to stop though if you don't want to, can still do morning and night feeds as long as you want.
You've done the hardest part, much much easier after the 6 months
Good luck whatever you decide to do. Xx

Girls I'm afraid I do have to stop completely for medical reasons. As confirmed by my GP, my sisters GP, my mothers cardiologist plus numerous google searches. It was pointed out to me that my little girl needs me around when she is 18+ more than to be breastfed for an extended period of time.
I was disappointed at first but have come to terms with it now.

Thanks girls...like I say I wish it was longer but I'm delighted we got this far.
My doc says I'll have to come off the medication if I become pregnany again so here is hoping I will be breastfeeding another little one soon!

Well done you, I started to wind down around the 6months and was totally finished by 8, I think we all did marvelous even if it is for 6 weeks or 6 months at least we gave it a go and did the best we could.

Well done. Hope your medical issues are ok, fair play to you even more for breastfeeding as long as you have. Xxx

Thanks girls it's not as dramatic as it seems. I have no symptoms that make my life uncomfortable or difficult, it's all purely genetics and what lies ahead unless I get it under control now.

Well done sis,
Your little lady could not have asked for a better start in life. Here's hopeing it won't be too long before you're doing it all over again! Not sure I'll find it so easy knowing this will be the last time . Best of luck next week and be nice to yourself. Few too many glasses of red may be in order next weekend with himself on baby duty!

Ah thanks sis...thanks for all your help too jeez I reckon the monkey wouldn't have been fed at all breast or formula if I didn't have yourself and my PHN SIL to consult about every ridiculous bowel movement.
