stork mark anyone?

Question:

Hi all,
my dd (21 month) was born with a very light mark between her eyes (and also on the back of her nect under her hairline. It's very very faint - always was but is visible and more so at some times than others. It was referred to as a "Stork Mark" on a number of occasions by a number of people. I had actually heard of them before. The peadeatrician said at her 6 week check up that it would vanish itself in a few months and the phn said the same (I hadn't even asked about it, just figured it would fade and it was so small and faint anyway, plus had other things on my mind - like a newborn ) But it hasn't. It may have faded in the first 6 months but seems to me to be the same since then. Again, it's really faint and it certainly doesn't bother me, and I doubt it will bother her (till she's 13-19 when everything will bother her )
Just wondering if anyone has the same at the same age? Or had one that vanished later?
Thanks
Joanna
Answers:
my dd has one between her eyebrows which looks pretty much the same to me now as it did when she was born although you cant really see it because of her fringe. (She's going to be 5 in a couple of weeks) Hers is more visable if she's crying or straining and also when she has a high temperature.
I've never seen one in a teenager so I assume it'll fade.

Yeah, Niccis is too, I mean more visible when she's crying etc.

My dd has one on the back of her neck going into her hairline. She is almost 13 months now and it has been gradually fading, but seems to have stopped fading now. But I have read that they fade completely within a few years.

My DS was born with one of these on the back of his neck too, apparently a very common place for them, it's now disappeared or at least no longer visible because of his hair.
